Past Events
Sharp International
The High Steppers Drill Team performed in the Sharp International Competition at Knott's Berry Farms, in Buena Park, CA. They received first place in the Military Drill Category for ages 11 and up, showcasing their strength, synchronization, and spirit on a national stage. Our youth stepped with pride, representing discipline and creativity while standing alongside top teams from across the region-proving that heart, hard work, and unity always make an impact.
The High Steppers proudly marched in "America's Largest Balloon Parade, " helping kick off San Diego's Holiday Bowl festivities. In front of thousands, our drill team brought bold energy and precision to the bay front, showing the power of movement, unity, and youth leadership on a citywide stage. With over 100,000 spectators lining the route, our youth Drill Team marched in rhythm and pride.

Veterans Day Parade
Our High steppers walked confidently in the San Diego Veteran’s Day Parade took place on Tuesday November 11, 2025, marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War I. They proudly walked among over 80 participating marching bands, historic military units, vintage vehicles, and ceremonial floats.
Events like these help our youth learn more about the history of our country while being part of an important movement stepping towards a continued better future.
Martin Luther King Parade
The High Steppers proudly participated in the 14th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade on Skyline Drive, joining one of San Diego's largest celebrations honoring Dr. King's legacy.
Representing youth empowerment and cultural pride, our Drill and Step Team marched with energy and unity-embodying the discipline, leadership, and efficacy that define our mission. Events like this allow our young performers to not only showcase their talent, but to stand tall in the spirit of community, justice, and resilience.
Summer Boot Camp
The High Steppers’ Summer Boot Camp gave our youth an opportunity to strengthen their discipline, teamwork, confidence, and performance skills through focused training and shared experiences. More than preparation for performances, the camp helps participants build stronger relationships, develop leadership, challenge themselves, and prepare to represent The High Steppers with pride throughout the upcoming season.

The High Steppers partnered with the our local athletic programs to celebrate and recognize important key holding members in our community.
Every celebration and community gathering gives our Steppers the chance to build confidence, learn about the people in their community who make a difference in their lives, and experience what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves.
